In this tour you will have chance to see ancient city called Hierapolis. Hierapolis is considered a Phrygian city due to its proximity to the ancient cities of Laodicea and Tripolis. Hierapolis is a holy settlement for Christianity because St. Phillipe’s tomb is here. For this reason, Hierapolis is known as the “holy city” in the archaeological literature. İn Hierapolis you will see the large necropolis is filled with sarcophagi, the main street with gates, cathedral, the theatre, water canal and Nympaeum.

Tour Itinerary
Starting take all guest from Izmir hotels and then, take a road to Pamukkale.
Take a breath, you can take coffee or tea, WC or fresh juice.
Continue to Pamukkale for visit or swim in the Ancient Pool of Cleopatra.
3-4 hours on site Pamukkale and Hierapolis. Two site are at the same place. Swim, visit or enjoy at the travertines.
Lunch time and a small break.
With a drive of approximately 3 hours with a break, time to return to Izmir again.
